Ministries

The Youth Ministry Team consists of the leaders of all the youth groups and educational programmes in the church and operates under the supervision of Session. It has as its main goal to guide young people into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The team recognises that parents have the primary responsibility for bringing covenant youth to the Lord and works in conjunction with the parents.

Sunday School
Children 4-11 years of age attend the first part of the morning worship service, and then leave with their teachers for Sunday school which is held in the hall and various meeting rooms.

Catechism Classes
The covenant youth of the church are instructed in the teachings of Scripture and guided to follow the Lord.

Junior / Senior Catechism
Catechism is held every second Sunday mornings before the worship service between 8:20am - 8:50am during school terms at the church.

Profession of Faith
Profession of faith Catechism is held as requested.

Play @ NCC is a member of Playgroup Queensland. We cater for all children up to school age. In an outside environment Mum's can relax while children have a time of free play and an organised craft activity. Playgroup meets every Thursday 9.30-11am in the school terms.

This group get together every second Friday evening between 6:30pm and 8:00pm at the Church. Kids Club is open to all children in Grades 3 to 6. Kids Club is an exciting place for kids to make friends and have fun playing games and activities with different themes each night.

This group get together every second Friday evening between 6:30pm and 8:00pm at the Church. Youth Club is open to all children in Grades 7 to 9 to join for fun and games in the presence of Christ.

Get together on Monday's from 9:30am at the church. All ladies are welcome to join for a time of Bible study and fellowship.

We believe pastoral care, spiritual growth and exercising of spiritual gifts is best done in close, intimate settings like Home Groups. All members are strongly urged to join or form a Home Groups.

These groups meet on pre-arranged days on a monthly, fortnightly or weekly basis and focus their attention on Bible study and mutual support.
